Teaching Theme

Teachers will be key to ensuring that more maths grads has an impact. The project will work to increase and develop teachers’ enjoyment, confidence and knowledge of mathematics and its applications.

This will enable them to stimulate interest in their students, ultimately encouraging more of them to carry on their study of maths.

The undergraduate ambassador scheme will be extended to help teachers in local schools.
