Regions

More maths grads is piloting in three English regions:

• East London (Queen Mary, University of London)
  
• West Midlands (Coventry University)
  
• Yorkshire and the Humber (University of Leeds)

Each region will work with seven schools and colleges in each region, chosen on widening participation criteria and in consultation with AimHigher and Action on Access.

The project will also try to develop and expand links between schools, colleges, careers organisations, universities and employers. Working with regional and national employers will be key to building a picture for students of where a maths degree can lead.

Leading employers who are already working with more maths grads include Rolls Royce PLC, Thales, Qinetiq and the Ford Motor Company.
